If you do not crochet or knit, but would like to donate, we would welcome donations of yarn. We would appreciate any yarn that is soft to the touch and warm. All colors are welcome.
Donating Homemade Scarves
If you would like to contribute a scarf, please do; we would be honored to receive them. We welcome scarves made by victims/survivors, by friends and family members of victim/survivors, or by anyone interested in supporting victims/survivors through the process of recovery.
The scarves can be any color and pattern, but we do ask that you make them at least 5 inches wide and around 65 inches long. Also the yarn used should be as soft as possible, so that the scarf can be held close without feeling rough to the skin. If your scarf has any special care instructions, please include them.
If you would like to make a financial contribution (which will help us purchase yarn, printing and packaging materials for each scarf, and hooks/needles for volunteers to use), please send gift cards for JoAnn Fabrics, A.C. Moore, Michaels, or Walmart so we can purchase supplies.
